The Milky Way over West Cork

The Milky Way core stood almost vertical over the house. The night sky was so clear and dark I could see the brighter parts of the core and lots and lots of stars with my own eyes. This was a 20-second exposure, f/2.8, ISO 8000 using my Samyang 24mm prime....

A roadside waterfall on the way up to Sunrise at Mount Rainier, back in 2018. Old D3400, kit lens stopped all the way down to f/36 to force a slow enough shutter to smooth the water. Handheld, so the rocks and plants caught some of that blur too.

Went to the Boulder County Fair looking for the rides against a black sky. Quarter-second exposure, handheld, f/8 to keep the lights from blowing out. The spokes smear into thin triangles and the gondolas go soft, which was the whole point.
