​:boost_ok:​ Help with considerations on MoCA vs Powerline Ethernet
I'd like to get my Wii and Wii U working with the internet but it appears that my WiFi signal to my basement is just bad enough that, while the network is detected, it typically doesn't connect.
I have a free Coax cable right behind the TV I use for the Wii/Wii U.
Should I use MoCA or Powerline Ethernet, or another solution entirely? What would I need to get? Can I use one of these solutions to also strengthen the Wireless connection in this basement?
I also need to have some way to either use WEP security or bypass it using Ethernet in order for classic Wii functionality to work. If I do Ethernet, I know there's a product that will allow me to hook that into the console and it'll work.
My ISP is Xfinity and I have one of their modern XFi modems (and no other relevant routers)
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Feel free to ask additional questions for more details if needed.

I have logged into #Miiverse for the first time ever. I picked up Splatoon on disc, and the official servers are long shut down, so it was time to try out #Pretendo (on the Wii U; I've used it on my 3DS since last year). Before I get around to being destroyed by players with a decade more experience than me, I thought I'd see what the Miiverse was all about.

It is a *lot* busier than I had anticipated.

Es musste früher oder später leider so kommen:

#Nintendo schaltet die #Online #Server ab.
Ab dem 8.4.2024 kann man dann kein Mario Kart 8, Minecraft, Splatoon oder Mario Maker mehr auf der Wii U spielen.

Das ist für viele inkl. mir ein sehr sehr schwerer abschied von diesen sehr guten Multiplayer spielen, die man dann nur noch offline und lokal genießen kann. (Oder über eigene Server.)

Aber z.B. bei Mario Maker kann man nie wieder Level downloaden. 😞
