What can I possibly do to make the vWii part of my Wii U work with my WiFi? I understand the Wii needs 802.11 b/g/n and my WiFi network only has 802.11 g/n for the 2.4 GHz. My modem is upstairs while my Wii is in the basement so I don't see an easy way to connect it wired. I have one of those Xfinity xFi modems.
Any suggestions to get the Wii connected to the internet?

I have a Wii and a Wii U. My Wii does not work with my ISP's modem. Can I do all the mod and hacking stuff the Wii can do on the Wii U?
Things I wanna do off the top of my head are:
Wiimmfi, Forecast and News Channels, loading Wii ROMs off an SD Card or USB Stick, Wii game mods

If you're still able to, you all should really have a firesale at the end of the #3DS and #WiiU eShop's life. #Capcom has gotten a huge chunk of my money this week.
If I could buy 10 of your games instead of one #Nintendo game, I would. I'm using stuff outside my wheelhouse here.
