#nebula — Public Fediverse posts

Linux microblog update:

My primary TV runs Linux, thanks to Valve's Steam Machine.

And sadly, also thanks to Roku's privacy policy change that made me drop their ecosystem and devices like a bag of flaming poo.

I spent a couple of years only watching DVDs. It was nice, actually.

Now I'm back to watching Streaming services I consider reasonably ethical, on my home television.

DropOut and Nebula work great, by simply rebooting my Steam Macgine to "Desktop Mode" and watching in-browser.

I can't comment on other popular streaming services, because I read privacy policies, and I currently do not allow other streaming services on to my devices.

My DVD player is also still going strong.

Sorry I missed World Space Week Fediverse.

Here's some of what I did over the past couple of nights. Orion is Nyingarn the Echidna in some of the local people's astronomy, so let's give that a go.

Koomba Nyingarn Djinda Koondart

Big Echidna Star Cloud sounds a reasonable translation.
