People think Banks are #neutral.
They are #bad managers of your #energy (#savings, #money) funding bad things.
Why bad things ?
#War is more profitable than your shitty #charity so "Sorry no we won't give you loans to your goody good charity / company. What do we get back, good morality?... NO! We need YOU to get MORE money from others!".
Banks want much more back. No matter what cost of life or whatever tanks you build.

#Banks fund war etc (it's a main business for them) so I have a problem with this #design.
Storing my #savings / profit with banks = directly fund multiple sides of #war.
Banks by design are a kind of #profit / war machine who 'help others' to fund their chosen things (if a good company is allowed to be funded) while at same time #funding all #bad / warring thing$ much faster.

CW: misguided ai non-opinions (sorry)
AI tooling world seems obsessed with Javascript et al - NPM and Node / Bun / etc all over the place. Before, ML and AI folks were obsessed with Python. Now, terminal software, desktop software and server software are all Javascript / Typescript — not just the web frontends.
AI tooling world seems to be obsessed with NOT allowing editing conversation history, context, etc. “Just let the ~aGeNt~ activate skills it needs”. “Why would you edit?” “Why would you want to press ‘regenerate’ button?” One things that ChatGPT and a few other UIs did well was letting you branch off a conversation within the same conversation. Press regenerate on remote-generated content or press edit on your own message, end up with an alternative, choose to resume from current thread so far; don’t like it, well, go back to previous version. Most UIs don’t do that now, and those that do can’t really expose APIs; ACP does not have support for many threads + chosen active path.
AI tooling world seems obsessed with CLIs / terminal apps in general. And integration with anything else? Well, let’s invent ACP, then ignore it; let’s run it locally only, with remote access an afterthought; and of course, let’s support accessing same threads, but, why would different frontend software share the same threads?
AI tooling world seems obsessed with eating up your tokens and then having workarounds that pretend to fix it. “Ah just let skills activate/deactivate MCPs.” “Ah just let skills teach the ~aGeNt~ how to do an action.” But if I set my context size to 16k in OpenCode, it’s already eating up 40%+ with no active MCPs and essentially no skills exposed. How about those baselines being more optimal?
AI tooling world seems to be really bad at understanding what ‘edit and retry’ should look like, letting a dumber LLM repeatedly hammer itself into the ground with same mistake and eat away at tokens of context, rather than undo the bad attempts at performing an action. (I’m looking at you, Gemma 4 using OpenCode’s ‘edit’, and OpenCode keeping those edit and read attempts in context until it runs out of context.)
AI tooling world seems to be really bad at understanding what security and autoapproval should look like; multiple ~aGeNtS~ don’t understand that I may want to autoapprove

Or even better, shipping/usr/bin/super-secret-helper readonly some-action(where presumably there’s a version ofsome-actionwithoutreadonly) but the approval UI does not allow approvingreadonlyversion only. Why not let me see and edit the pattern for autoapproval rules before approving it? In fact, why does no UI I’ve seen let me see rules approved so far in session, in project and, of course, globally?Complete wilderness. I’m not comfortable running this locally unless I find a way to completely isolate the filesystem and to auto-reject anything that resembles write operations. Maybe completely ban “bash” calls and require that any custom code executed must run inside a container disconnected from the internet and only seeing the project directory. I don’t know.
I don’t think I’m a hater, I don’t think I’m a fan; I think I’m just… sad and disappointed. And that’s before taking into account moral aspects of how this stuff was trained…

The time, space, money we don't see and what is not given is also by #DeliberateByDesign.
It is increasingly necessary to also to be #bad / copy #AI etc as part of the ways set by the #system itself - including missing options / lack of real care for people and basically all things to cut corners / "save" time and #caring in their own skewed #profit logic.
