Ami2ha: Controla la domótica del hogar desde tu Amiga.
Ami2ha 0.1 es un nuevo cliente nativo para AmigaOS que permite utilizar un Amiga real como interfaz para Home Assistant, el popular sistema de automatización y control domótico. El proyecto ofrece un panel basado en MUI capaz de mostrar en tiempo real información procedente de sensores y controlar dispositivos conectados al sistema.
La aplicación utiliza la API WebSocket de Home Assistant para mantener actualizados los datos y permite seleccionar qué entidades se muestran mediante etiquetas configuradas directamente en Home Assistant. De esta forma, es posible modificar el contenido del panel sin necesidad de cambiar la configuración del Amiga.
ami2ha también incorpora una ventana de configuración desde la que se pueden agrupar y ordenar las entidades, cambiar sus nombres y definir cómo se presentan. Además, dispone de un puerto ARexx denominado AMI2HA, con comandos como GET, ON, OFF, TOGGLE, CALL y STATUS, permitiendo que otras aplicaciones y scripts del entorno Amiga puedan interactuar con Home Assistant.
Otro de los aspectos destacados del proyecto es su consumo de memoria. El programa utiliza memoria en función del tamaño del panel configurado y no del número total de entidades existentes en Home Assistant. En las pruebas realizadas con una instalación que contaba con 2.079 entidades, un panel con una docena de ellas utilizó aproximadamente 1,3 KB, frente a unos 960 KB si se cargara toda la instalación.
El programa requiere AmigaOS 3.0 o superior, MUI 3.8 o superior para el panel gráfico y una pila TCP/IP compatible con «bsdsocket.library», como Roadshow, AmiTCP, Miami o la proporcionada por UAE. Se incluyen versiones para procesadores 68000 y 68020, y el instalador selecciona automáticamente la apropiada. También se incluye un manual en formato AmigaGuide.
Actualmente, ami2ha puede reconectarse automáticamente cuando se pierde la conexión y puede iniciarse directamente desde Workbench, utilizando los Tool Types del icono para su configuración.
Una de las características todavía pendientes es el soporte HTTPS mediante AmiSSL. Por el momento, el servidor debe ser accesible mediante HTTP, por lo que su utilización está orientada principalmente a redes locales.
El proyecto se encuentra en desarrollo y su autor tiene previsto mejorar la interfaz y añadir compatibilidad con más tipos de entidades, entre ellas persianas y válvulas de agua. El código fuente está disponible bajo licencia MIT.
