Well, if I do any #amiga3000t #BlueSCSI stuff today, I’ll have robbed one from a NeXT slab. Thursday’s arrival got delayed to today which now appears to be misdirected to a few towns away that are never part of the route (same last three letters of the town name and only the difference of a single numeral 5 vs a 2 in the zip). 30 mins away, but I’m betting that adds days, especially being a Friday.
Remind me what the second word represents in “Ground Advantage” service…?

This is happening….
I'm recovering the original Amiga 68000 source code and project assets of a little game I wrote for Capstone in 1989 called "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure."
The end goal is a complete era-accurate Amiga software project for DevPac alongside a modern workflow with VASM. Then I'll be fixing up and remastering this game.
It's been an intensive 40 hours working with Hermes and Ghidra to get most of the way there!

Voici un petit hommage au Philips VG5000µ de 1984.Construit au Mans, équipé du Zilog Z80A à 4 MHz et du fameux chip graphique EF9345. C’était une machine taillée pour la crise . Elle exigeait d'acheter l'extension VG5216 juste pour pouvoir brancher des manettes... Le véritable esprit DIY des années 80 ! 🐘⚙️

If you ever owned a C64, you probably appreciated the mystery of the border — the light-blue no man's land that was off-limits, except to the best game developers and demoscene programmers.
LFT does an *excellent* job explaining why this area was so hard to put graphics in, and how folks managed to still do so. And then goes on to demonstrate how he raised the bar for C64-border-wizardy!

I have left the #C64OS community due to the developer's unwillingness to take a stance against AI. He hasn't reached the point yet where he discovers that slop coders don't care to learn about his carefully hand-crafted code and thoughtful design choices, they just want tech support as to why the machine didn't get it right the first time. This choice is going to explode in his face, but I can't convince a person of something they don't want to be convinced of.
Not the first and not the last person who thinks that by being neutral over AI there will be a pot-of-gold at the end the rainbow for them. The only thing at the end of that rainbow is fascism.
