I have found a new low in terms of Compact Flash card compatibility with my 1997-era Socket 7 system: plugging in one Samsung CF card (8 GB) into the system keeps it from POSTing at all, with no video signal produced. :ac_bewilderment:

Played a game of #ColecoAdam Donkey Kong Jr. from my Lenovo Tab One #Android tablet, courtesy of #FujiNet Go, which fuses an emulator with FujiNet to provide an on-the-go #retrocomputing and #retrogaming experience.

Did 100,500 Didn't quite crack into the leaderboard though. :)

In the spirit of incentivizing frugality, I have sworn off getting my near-daily cup of coffee at the local shop.

I have replaced it with: A new (to me) Palm Tungsten T|X.

This bad boy will pair with my Callback. I will FINALLY recreate my dream set up (Tungsten T / SonyErickson T610). I had wild things like the ability to send text messages using graffiti.

The time period the story is set in is only 2'000 years after the first civilisations had formed, but given that they live in a desert world inside an hour-glass the size of Earth, it's fair to assume they'll have computers in the distant future (plenty of silicon available), and when they do, there will be #Encarta!

Just a quick mockup of a website for my book based on Encarta 96 since making an encyclopedia of the story world is something I'm considering.
