I'm over 350 pages into The Luminaries (2013) and I'm punting. Yes,, it is a highly praised, award-winning book, but I am dismayed that having the expectation that i was reaching the climax, I have turned a page and found I'm about to start part II. (Ebooks don't necessarily tell you how far along you are-- this book, it turns out, is over 800 pages.) So far, the book has been about various people discussing a series of mysterious coincidences from their various points of view. I'm done. Too many names, too many unmoving parts, too mixed up of a time-line. I have other books that show more promise-- one from Analee Newitz and one from Martha Wells that are in my queue. #boostodon

I sent a message to a local printing house asking their general pricing for printing a comic book (approx. 70 pages, hard back/paper back, full color, heavy paper weight, glossy) and might just turn out that printing locally may be too expensive after all...

Unless I hit a jackpot and can do printing and delivery, since not sure any Finnish company does print-on-demand where people can order their own copies.
