  1. #Oxford Music Festival: in the first half-day of two days worth of string classes, we had 21 #violins, only one #cello, no #violas, no #doubleBass. are we losing #diversity? The day included everything from tiny beginners to scary good, so not fundamentally an age effect.

  2. 🎸🎵 The world's only playable #Stradivarius guitar, the "Sabionari," was made in 1679. Here classical guitarists Rolf Lislevand and Krishnasol Jiménez perform #Baroque pieces on the restored instrument. While Antonio Stradivari's workshop produced over 1,000 #instruments including 960 #violins, only this single ten-string #guitar remains playable today thanks to restoration by master luthiers.
