I think it is great when YouTube woodworkers make and sell some sort of jig or tool that might help other people, but I absolutely do not understand why anyone interested in #woodworking wouldn't just make their own bench hooks. It is just three chunks of wood screwed together!

Nice when you are visiting #NationalTrust properties¹ and they have traditional #woodworking equipment which you remember being taught at school (granted it was a novelty at school along the lines of "and this how they used to do it").

Made this desk shelf some years ago with scrap woods, so that I can hide my keyboard underneath, and finally use it without too many distractions.

I've made some mistakes, like I should probably only cut one dovetail on the side of the grains. Well, perhaps there won't be a next time. I wish I could have more space than just the walking corridor of our bedroom... But at least cats can safely sit on top of the keyboard and successfully block the screen now.

Mais quand on sait que c'est un guide que j'avais fabriqué il y a 4 ou 5 ans, on est en droit de se dire que c'est pas juste une situation hasardeuse, et que je suis bien *un peu* timbré 🤏🏻

Drawers fit. Still need to glue up 1, 4, 5, & 6 but I want to do a little shaping that will be easier before glue up. Fingers crossed that I have time today! #woodworking

By no means fine #woodworking but we needed some plant stands and I managed to finish first one today. All in all couple of hours of work and 2 pieces of 8' long 5/4 x 6 deck boards. I will finish remaining ones tomorrow.

Made glue. #woodworking

Put rags with 140F water on them on the corners for maybe 10ish minutes and then tapped it all apart with a dead blow mallet. Only tiny bits of damage on interior corners of the dovetails, won’t be visible once it’s fully reassembled. Planning to glue all the other drawers together today and will let this dry out till tomorrow evening at the soonest. #woodworking

Ugh, third drawer out of square. This is what I get for rushing a glue up. May try to reglue it (yay hide glue) #woodworking
