Ferdinand from Fern's Guitars did a great job! The Mastery bridge has been installed and set up on my Jaguar. Ferdinand had a drill in the exact size of the Mastery thimbles and he carefully and manually widened the holes to get the new thimbles in. He also drilled a hole from the cavity with the input and knobs to the vibrato cavity to fix the ground issue once and for all. Guitar plays very well now, can't wait to plug it into my AC30!

Just dropped the Jaguar at #FernsGuitars in Amsterdam. An old basement crammed with guitars, amazing place. Ferdinand is a super nice guy, he knew exactly how to deal with my request of having a #Mastery bridge installed. It was a coming and going of other guitarists, he's got a good business going on.

It was very tempting to get a fresh kroket at Holtkamp on the way back. But I withstood the temptation and am now on the way back.

My second acoustic guitar is also a Yamaha - I got the sturdy FG-400A about a year after my Stratocaster because I wanted to play on a steelstring acoustic too. This is probably the guitar I used the most to learn in the 1990s because it was really easy to play and has a very rich and deep tone.
