🏴 #ScotRail has unveiled its first official #tartan as it prepares to support a landmark year of sporting and cultural events across #Scotland in 2026. Designed by chief graphic designer Susie MacLeod, the tartan draws inspiration from the rhythm, structure and connectivity of Scotland’s rail network. Its blue and white colour scheme reflects ScotRail’s branding, while double white lines symbolise railway tracks and the Saltire, representing communities linked by Scotland’s Railway. The design has been added to the #Scottish Register of Tartans after meeting strict requirements. Customers will soon see the tartan across the network, including on hospitality items, ticket vending machines, advertising displays and the interiors of new Class 222 intercity #trains. ScotRail said the tartan celebrates its heritage, national identity and role in connecting communities across the country.

It's too wet & stormy to work in the garden today...
So I'm finishing up a couple of the stela design figurines that I had cast with some embedded beads & old jewelry.
One I've dubbed "Abundance" is nearing completion, and my beta test for Brighid of Scotland is...trying to manifest.
Putting my dad's family tartan as part of the design is going to be challenging.

Hey Fedi! I'm looking forward to buy me another pleated tartan mini skirt … but all I can find on eBay and Etsy doesn't cut it in terms of fabric/style/length (too kink/too grunge). A seller on Etsy offers some choice of colours/patterns, but it's all in one style, which I already bought.
For me, it's all about a beautiful, classic and slightly sexy cut for the skirt. EU (ofc including the UK) shipment is a plus.
