Greenland is to be presented with its own tartan as a cross-party group of MPs is set to visit Nuuk.
The visit follows months of threats from President Donald Trump’s administration on the country’s status.
As part of their trip, the chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Greenland (APPG), SNP MP Brendan O’Hara, will present the Greenlandic Parliament and government with a Greenland tartan this week.

Hey Fedi! I'm looking forward to buy me another pleated tartan mini skirt … but all I can find on eBay and Etsy doesn't cut it in terms of fabric/style/length (too kink/too grunge). A seller on Etsy offers some choice of colours/patterns, but it's all in one style, which I already bought.
For me, it's all about a beautiful, classic and slightly sexy cut for the skirt. EU (ofc including the UK) shipment is a plus.

Why is today #TartanDay? Because April 6th is the anniversary of the Declaration of Arbroath, a letter written to the Pope in 1320, declaring Scottish independence. While it might be easy to assume Tartan Day started in #Scotland, the home of the fabric, it actually started in Canada in the 1980s. It's a big thing in New York City where there is an annual Tartan Day parade.

This past weekend, I went to a dinner party hosted by a Chicago-area #bagpiper and his wife. This was one of their chairs (created, I was told, from a chair and not from actual #bagpipes), and some of the delicious #kilt cookies his wife had made for the guests (still soft when I ate mine).

Go off to my usual disability aids supplier to order a spare non tumble tumbler and another of the red plate guards I use so very often. Both absolutely essential disability aids so I can manage meals. And trust me to nab some more things! Getting a poncho for my wheelchair, and a blue tartan stick (made in Somerset!).
