Yesterday, the electricity supply was off, while SSE (the electricity network supplier) cut tree branches that were encroaching the lines. Part of the work involved using a cherry picker to access branches above an electricity pole in my ground.
The chap went up in the basket, and proceeded to cut some branches. I noticed that two hours later he was still there, and he wasn't working. The boom had failed, and he was stuck 15m up. 😂
