Sounds like the infamous #Glasgow based "Queensferry guy" has finally had his collar felt. Been scamming people and marching them to cash points for too long. People even knew what he looked like but it takes way too long for repercussions. The similar scam I still see is the "Buddhist monk" who puts a 'gift' garland on people's wrists then similar tactics are employed to get you to a cash point.

Hello. Can anyone tell me if the Britannia Panopticon in #Glasgow is open for viewing Thurs or Fri afternoons? I've read that it is but I really had to dig for that information so I'm a bit wary of trusting it. I was lucky enough to see inside 27 or 28 years or so ago and would love to visit again even though I found it a very spooky space.

🏴🚉 #ScotRail recorded 201,463 passenger journeys on Sunday, 26 July, its busiest Sunday since returning to public ownership in April 2022. The total was boosted by people travelling to #Commonwealth Games events across #Glasgow, including bowls, swimming, boxing, basketball and gymnastics. ScotRail has been running extra services to key venues, including Dalmarnock, Exhibition Centre and Scotstounhill, along with additional evening trains. The record follows more than seven million passenger journeys in June and reflects a busy summer of concerts, festivals and sporting events, including TRNSMT, Take That, Zach Bryan, Luke Combs and the Summer Sessions at Bellahouston. More services are planned for the #Edinburgh Festivals, with extra staff across the network to help passengers.

Beautiful evening sunshine down here on the south coast. Watching the Commonwealth Games and I can't help but notice that the weather can best be described as absolutely pissing it down north of the border. I suspect that's normal late July conditions in Glasgow.
