Today, I've done a little work on my shell script that uses RegExs on my chapter files to find possible editing issues.
I'm pretty happy with the results from today's change. Though I'm not completely sure the new RegEx works across multiple paragraphs. Even without that definitely working, it finds a bunch of new stuff to check on The Novel.

This is truly interesting and I must admit I had no clue about the extraordinary democratic events really happening in Serbia.
My "knowledge" (or lack thereof), was shaped by the lacklustre reporting of national and international media. Something that increasingly annoys me.
Same in regard of reporting about the protests in France: a lot of coverage about violence and destruction, but hardly anything about the background, the details and the objective proportions of peaceful protest vs violence.
Klickbait headlines everywhere. Well researched, truthfull, informative and trustworthy journalism: rare exemption and hard to find among all the slop. -
Our Water Well Project is moving forward again after a recent pause and we are almost there!
Thank you so much for being patient & supportive, becuase we are now working towards bringing the water closer to our farm and community, regardless of all the challenges.
We’re happy to be back with an update on our water well project after a period of silence.
The quietness was because of the challenges i.e we had to find an advanced drilling company with the correct gears and expertise to proceed on that greater depth(>100ft), we also had to raise the new funding(1200 eur)...
On the other hand, the drilling its self with a new advanced company has also been very very slow because of the rainy season that has been interrupting. The attached photos show the water that collects every after 5 hours which is a clear sign for the experts to say we are near the water table
Bottom line; This journey is not easy at all, but not impossible.

Spectral Signatures Of Tidal Forcing: Spatiotemporal Patterns Of Groundwater–Surface Water Exchange In A Tidal Creek System
--
https://doi.org/10.1002/lno.70533 <-- shared paper

H/T @sven Frei | Computational Hydrologist @ Wageningen University | Hydrology–Biogeochemistry | Physics-Informed Neural Networks | Water Quality & Eutrophication | Modelling water, nutrients & contaminants with process-based models and AI
“🌊 What really drives groundwater exchange in tidal creeks? The answer is more complex than the tides alone!
How do tides, weather, and coastal infrastructure interact to control the exchange of water between surface water and groundwater? And can we capture these dynamics at high temporal resolution?
In our new study from Texel, the Netherlands, [the authors] combine sediment temperature monitoring with physics-informed neural networks (PINNs) to unravel the hidden dynamics of surface water–groundwater (SW–GW) exchange.
🔍 WHAT DID [THEY] FIND?:
🌊 Two zones, two hydrological regimes: A dike–flood gate system separates the creek into a tidally influenced, net-infiltrating seaward zone and a landward zone dominated by persistent groundwater discharge.
☀️ It's not just about the tides: The diurnal K1 signal dominates the exchange dynamics, while the semidiurnal M2 tide appears intermittently.
🌗 Spring–neap cycles matter, too: The fortnightly tidal cycle systematically modulates exchange fluxes.
🤖 A new way to see the invisible: By combining temperature time series with PINN-based inversion, [they] reconstruct[ed] continuous, high-resolution groundwater fluxes over 51 days.
💡 The bigger picture: Coastal groundwater exchange is shaped by the interplay of marine, terrestrial, and human influences. Understanding these interactions is essential for predicting solute transport, nutrient cycling, and contaminant fate at the land–sea interface..."

#TorontoElection It speaks volumes for Bradford's record as a Councillor for Ward 19 - Beaches - East York that his former constituents voted 65.4% for Olivia Chow, 31% for him, and 3.6% for somebody else. It would appear that the reports that he was a bad representative had more than a little truth to them.
I find this funny as I listen to CITY TV's coverage from his campaign event. As it did during the election, City is still trying to puff Brad and frame this disastrous result for him as some kind of confirmation of his greatness.
