Este próximo viernes 24 de abril regresamos a Las Naves con una ponencia imprescindible de Juan Conejero, matemático y ciudadano comprometido con la soberanía tecnológica.
Como es habitual, arrancaremos la tarde con nuestro taller de ayuda: un espacio abierto para instalar software libre con nuestro apoyo y resolver cualquier duda técnica.

Llevo varios días bicheando en esto del #fediverso y ando bastante asombrada de no haber sabido antes de su existencia.
A modo de #presentación decir que suelo usar las redes en modo "voyeur": busco información interesante (o simplemente pasar el rato y dejarme sorprender) y no suelo postear mucho; así que no esperéis demasiado contenido por mi parte, pero si algun que otro like (se dice así por aquí?).
Estoy empezando a aprender cositas de #python #git #pandas #sql y #data en general. Cuanto más aprendo más veo que no tengo ni idea de nada, pero me gusta leer tips&tricks y artículos (nivel principiante).
Me gusta #cocinar, pero me gusta aún más comer así que si tienes #recetas o recomendaciones de #restaurantes en #Madrid (o cualquier otra ciudad) serán más que bienvenidas.

Twitter censorship is still alive.
[Update 23 April 2023: It looks like the ban was revoked].I wrote a long thread on Nominal and Natural Kinds, which are concepts developed by Saul Kripke around 1970. Kripke revolutionised Modal Logic at the age of 17 in 1957, providing completeness proofs making modal logic as sound as the first-order logic developed by Bertrand Russell with Principia Mathematica in 1910. Until then, analytic philosophers had followed Russell in thinking that modal logic was mythical talk.
How could this lead to censorship? The thread started when I heard a discussion on the Russian Philosopher Dugin, where his translator explained how Dugin drew a link from Occam's Nominalism to #Liberalism, the #trans debate and the current #geopolitical situation. That seemed a bit of a stretch, but it had the advantage of getting me interested in #Nominalism.
Dugin is known as Putin’s philosopher, and the trans debate is a controversial topic. Could it explain the #censorship?
Yet having porn, violence, and other crazy stuff available to all has never bothered Twitter. Could it be that analytic philosophy is just too explosive, too revolutionary?There is only one lonely tweet at the end of that thread which remains visible. I was just quoting Steven Pinker on how philosophers like to question anything, from God to causation... Pinker was quoting a blog post by another MIT professor titled "Philosophy's No-Go-Zone". What could that be?

Encara no parles valencià? No et preocupes! Aquestes classes estan dissenyades per a principiants i aquells que volen millorar la seua fluïdesa. Seran sessions amenes i participatives, on podràs aprendre i practicar sense por.

Bandit: Questo wargame è progettato per principianti assoluti e insegna le basi necessarie per giocare ad altri wargames. Consiste di 26 livelli che insegnano i comandi di base Linux e concetti di sicurezza informatica.
Natas: è un wargame che si concentra sulla sicurezza web. Ogni livello rappresenta una vulnerabilità diversa in un'applicazione web, e l'obiettivo è sfruttare queste vulnerabilità per avanzare al livello successivo.
Krypton: Focalizzato su aspetti specifici della sicurezza informatica, come crittografia o analisi di file binari.

I'm trying to remember the name of the young prodigy who'd been bullied as a child, somewhere in the US (Cleveland sticks in my mind though I may be wrong on that), took refuge in the library, read Principia Mathematica, and corresponded with Bertrand Russelll over errata. Russell mistook the youth for a maths professor initially.
Obviously early 20th century.

Soy Javi, un andaluz de 24 años. Me encanta el arte, el diseño, la fotografía, los videojuegos, la postproducción, el 3D y soy piloto de dron estabilizado y principiante como piloto de drones FPV.

"What is the relationship of science and technology to human history, and how have Marxists conceptualized this problematic within historical materialism? The work of Boris Hessen represents one of the most sophisticated attempts to apply a materialist analysis to the history of science—specifically, how the economic needs of early capitalism influenced what we now think of as modern science and the Scientific Revolution. In this blog, I explore how Hessen pursues his analysis in his seminal essay “The Social and Economic Roots of Newton’s Principia” (henceforth referred to as “Newton’s Roots”).
While Hessen did not develop the first Marxist analysis of science, Hessen’s approach was one of the first truly systematic attempts. Moreover, his work helps us see past the often oversimplified division between “Western Marxism” and Soviet thought, revealing a productive tension in international Marxism through attempts to apply historical materialism in understanding science, technology, and nature under capitalist society.
In the same vein, Henryk Grossman makes the connection between science and capitalist society explicit in his work with the Institute of Social Research (Institut für Sozialforschung, or IfS)—several of Grossmann’s articles were published in the IfS’s journal Zeitschrift für Sozialforschung (ZfS). Grossmann was in fact one of the first defenders of Hessen’s work against critics such as George. N. Clark, Richard S. Westfall, etc. as these critics fundamentally misunderstood Hessen’s theses, and, by extension, Grossmann’s own formulation of the relation between science and capitalist society. While both reached similar conclusions independently, and Grossmann’s work is introduced at points, I focus on Hessen’s formulation here."

Felices de anunciar el Segundo Aniversario de la Korro!!!
A las 14.30 empezamos con sparring abierto en boxeo, k1 o muay thai.
Nivel principiante, contacto light, técnico. Ven a pelear o a disfrutar unas batallas muy divertidas.
Durante el dia Jam de circo, Serigrafia en vivo y presentacion del nuevo Taller de Ceramica.
