Last weekend i tried Galactic Cruise. It takes some time to learn the rules, but the game flows well and i enjoyed it very much! 🚀
In the game you have to build space cruise ships, plan and promote trips and finally launch them.
I love how they designed the launch preparation steps as a countdown routine that you have to do each time you're ready to launch a ship!

So there was an image of fluffy white #cat in transparent vessel, probably trash bin, shaped like this. Cannot find this photo in the web right now, but it was the one doing many circles in jokes and memes about #cats being liquid (or melting in hot days), even here I saw it many times.
I started thinking that cat looked like half-melting #IceCream in big glass.

And there was Codenames #tabletop game I played several times on work integration meetings (picture version, there is also word version mentioned in web more often). I noticed pictures on cards being very absurd/surrealistic/psychedelic and I really liked it.

Finally I thought "there could be cat ice-cream #card in this game", it would have similar vibe. So this is my vision of that card, drawn in style similar to original Codenames cards.

I have made some good contacts with player groups for testing the tabletop version of Aldermarkt.

Digital version:
It is still at a very early stage, and I will only release something that I would enjoy playing myself.
First, I need to code the core game mechanics in a playable environment and create the basic sprites.

Next steps:

Running a wider alpha test for the tabletop version

Releasing a boxed Version 1.0 of the tabletop game

Disclaimer:
For the prototype of the tabletop version, I used AI to create the first version of some characters. All pixel art is my own work. Version 1.0 of the tabletop game will definitely feature handmade art.

All game mechanics, concepts, and rules were developed without AI.
