Our High Society tournament turned out great fun! All ages, genders, many languages. And an excellent junior member of @thoughtfuldane.bsky.social 's household brought home the gold medal!

The Steam version of "Everdell" has finally received another addon, just the small one, Bellfaire, but hey, it's finally more Everdell!
I really like Everdell as a board game, and I think the Steam version is a really well done version of it, including quick overviews over the board, something many digital board games sadly lack, lovely animations and effects (like tickling your workers by clicking them) and of course the same beautiful artwork of the board game.
I hope the bigger addons will follow at some point.
And, well, I generally recommend whatever version of Everdell, it's really a fun and cute game, even for someone like me that usually dislikes "victory points" games. Also, look, the queen is so cute! And mice! And everything! ❤️

Used my pizza rack for its intended purpose tonight. One of the local brew pubs is a “bring your own food” place, so we did. Played some Flamecraft Duals for the first time. Tonight was our last beautiful weather night before it heats up, so I really wanted to spend it outside. #BikeTooter #BoardGames

Oh, wow, this is awesome. If you like board games, and want something a bit different, Sunderfolk is a great adaptation for a screen.
I play it on the TV with the kids via my ROG Ally, everyone has their own phone which is like their character sheet and controller in one.

Die Erstpartie war ja noch knapp, schon in der nächsten sah ich kein Land mehr. 😅
Ich bin mir noch etwas uneins, ob ich Findorff mag. Einerseits ist es interessant und bietet taktisches Spiel, aber so richtig packt es mich (noch?) nicht; zudem ist die Varianz nicht besonders hoch.
Frau gefällt es hingegen sehr gut.Auf Bild 1 sieht man, dass da noch etwas mehr auf uns wartet. 🤩

Made a little travel tic-tac-toe game 🦖
Sewed a pouch, stitched the board onto it, and made a small army of clay dinosaurs. Once the match is over, they all go back into the bag and continue travelling together peacefully.

Heute die erste Runde die Sümpfe von Feya zu zweit gespielt. Vorweg, es spielt sich zu zweit schon gut.
Mir gefällt das Design auch sehr gut und es hat Spaß gemacht und das Ergebnis war knapp.
Es ist Workerplacement und mit Plättchenlegen.
Wir werden es am Wochenende sicherlich nochmal spielen, dann mit den leicht asymmetrischen Fraktionen.
Ich finde es nett, aber ich finde Emberleaf besser.
Dauert aber auch länger.

We asked our illustrator Robert Herzig to redraw our campaign cover in his style. In the end it was the only piece of art that wasn't from him. As we had it commissioned before he came on board. It quickly turned out that he would draw all illustrations. Something that's unusual for a game of this size – but he was up for the challenge. 🔥 💪 In the end it was clear to us: If he draws all the card artworks, he needs to illustrate the cover as well – to honor his contribution and to give the game a cohesive look. 🫶
