reworked my bag of tricks again. notably it now has a large deck of just dry-erase cards, which seem like a very versatile tool for party game type deals.

also included are mini d6 in 6 colors, a deck of high-contrast playing cards, and a cloth backgammon board I designed in 2022 (I gotta print more copies to sell or give away, it's a nice board I think)

August as usual was a big #BoardGames month for us, due both to playing lots of one-off games at GenCon & inspiration to play more games after GenCon. Plus a little anxiety game playing for the changes with the start of the school year. The highlight of all of this for me is Six Sojourns, which is a really solid lighter game. #bgstats

I want to bring my card game system nio into Tabletop Simulator (TTS) soon, and I'm looking for someone from the #boardgame community who's done this kind of import before. Is anyone up for a chat to help me figure out how to proceed?

I’m quite impressed with getting the same number of #BoardGames plays in August as I did in July. During my holiday I missed my regular monthly day of big games but the offspring being home meant I got a few extras in.

I bought expansions for both the two top games. Forest Shuffle: Dartmoor’s Exmoor expansion is a mouthful but fun; Wyrmspan’s Dragon Academy expansion felt a bit like it diluted the deck too much to find synergy, we may just have had unlucky draws.

Slick 20 minute social deduction & bluffing card game. Half the players want the cards to turn dark and the others to turn light, but your goals can switch so it's all fluid. We liked it a lot.
