Designed a 3D printed case for Hop Shot my micro dexterity board game currently in final testing.
Also commissioned an illustrated card back that's pending; once done will order a batch of cards and be ready to ship out prototypes to those interested in playtesting.

Gold Country
Knizia's latest offering is marked as being a cube rails game on BGG - which is a bit disingenuous. There is share trading and you connect things on a map but it is not as dynamic as a true Winsome cube rails game.
I enjoyed it well enough but I prefer cube rails games. I need to play with the advanced rules before passing judgement.
The steel pans are amazingly heavy for a game component.

I’m tired, boss. At least for #boardgames I don’t have to jump through all these hoops to reclaim ownership of things. Board games are tangible, and you OWN them.

Last night's #boardgames included Lords of Waterdeep. I'd long been put off this as it looked complicated, but it's really not: place your agent figures, take resources, cash them in to complete quests and get points. I came second out of four, thanks in part to a lucky quest card that exactly matched the rare purple resources I'd collected for no good reason other than they might come in handy. Overall, an efficiency exercise with some fun interaction. Not overly taxing, so would play again.
