Plenty of #BoardGames were played in June. Hurray!

Both plays of #GalacticCruise were on the same day which was pretty epic. Also tried the Britannia map for #HansaTeutonica but I think I prefer the original.

Eilen pääsin pitkästä aikaa Hansa Teutonican pariin. On tämä kyllä jotakuinkin parasta, mitä pelilaudan äärellä voi viidellä pelaajalla alle puolessatoista tunnissa tehdä.

Peli on kenties hivenen tylsän näköinen ja vaikuttaa vain kuutionpuskemiselta, mutta draamaa riittää, samoin erilaisia mahdollisuuksia kiipiä pisteillä. Pelin kesto on pirullisen terävällä tavalla pelaajien hallussa: ratkaisin pelin lopetuksen eilen antamalla yhden pisteen vastapelaajalle, tuupaten tämän kriittiseen 20 pisteeseen. Kuulostaa hölmöltä, mutta tekemällä näin estin tätä pelaajaa saamasta vielä kokonaista uutta vuoroa.

Valitettavasti hyvä yritys ei riittänyt, vaan jäin parin pisteen erolla kakkoseksi. Se on kuitenkin parempi tulos kuin odotin, sen verran huteralta menoni pelin keskivaiheilla vaikutti vaikka alku ihan hyvä olikin. Hansa Teutonicaan ei ihan helposti kyllästy, on tämä vain hieno peli.

New hotness #Arcs is fun. I've played twice, badly. Need to figure out how to score points.

I bought #Scout and 5P is much better than 3P.

I'd only played #HansaTeutonica online once in 2020. Played twice in person at 5P, each a little over 1hr. A rare fast playing game at 5P w/ crunchy decisions.

I taught my sister how to play my favorite game, #Concordia . #Cascadia, #Heat, #AquaGarden and #Viticulture are still great fun (the latter 2 w/ expansions)
