Weil ich gestern Dakota Fanning wegen den Verschenkekistenzulauf #Dreamer (»Dreamer. Inspired by a True Story«, 2005, IMDB 6,8) gesehen habe, musste ich im Anschluss wegen thematischer Parallelen und aus nostalgischer Erinnerung den Lieblingsfilm meiner (späteren) Kindheit #NationalVelvet (»National Velvet«, 1944, IMDB 7,3) schauen.

Ich hab jetzt eine Überdosis an #Tierleid ausklammerndem kitschigem #Pferdemystizismus, der Pferden unterstellt, den Wunsch zu haben, #Pferderennen zu gewinnen.

Dieses tiefgründige Lied von Ozzy Osbourne aus dem Jahr 2000 thematisierte damals schon viele Fragen die uns in der heutigen Zeit noch eindrücklicher bewegen als man es zu jener Zeit voraussehen konnte.
Der 'Prince of Darkness' hat damit wohl ein Werk geschaffen das nicht aktueller sein könnte.
