i've been thinking about an idea i had a decade or more ago when i was on the highway and saw an "adopt a road" sign.
what about "adopt a band"? i'm thinking about older musicians that don't have a website or barely have one.
for instance i sit in on a couple of songs with a jazz band on weds nights in my town. they have one album and it's really good but no one hears it. what if the technical among us find these forgotten artists and make them a webpage. there are some free options out there (cloudflare, etc) and just gift it to them?
i don't know. probably just a hippy pipe dream but just think how much that would mean to them. as artists, we just want to be seen. we want our music to show the world who we are or were.

Thinking a lot tonight with my birthday coming up next month. It’s got me reflecting on everything and I really want this next year to be the best I can make it. I’m ready to just enjoy the small things like good coffee or a new craft project and see how I can grow. #LateNightThoughts #BirthdayReflections #Dreamer #Writer #NewChapter

I really want to go into this year with a positive outlook and I’ve been thinking a lot aboutt putting more energy into bettering myself both health-wise and mentally. This includes getting healthier, reading more books, and finally getting my handcrafted things out into the world! I also really want to focus on keeping up with loved ones. It feels good to have a plan and I’d love to hear what you guys are focusing on! #Writer #Handmade #SmallGoals #2026 #Dreamer

Gazing through the window at the world outside
Wondering will mother earth survive
Hoping that mankind will stop abusing her
[...]
And here we are, still fighting for our lives
Watching all of history repeat itself
[...]
I watch the sun go down like every one of us
I'm hoping that the dawn will bring a sign
A better place for those who will come after us
[...]
Without each other's help, there ain′t no hope for us
[...]
If only we could all just find serenity
It would be nice if we could live as one
When will all this anger, hate and bigotry be gone?
[...]
I′m just a dreamer
I dream my life away
[...]
I'm just a dreamer
Who dreams of better days
[...]
I′m just a dreamer
Who's searching for the way
