Also remembering that already back then he was very worried about the manufacturer discontinuing the specific pipes used as raw materials for these creatures and therefore bought several kilometers of piping as reserve in advance, to future proof his project and not having to potentially recalculate/recalibrate all the designs...

ということでテオ・ヤンセン展行ってきた
開催期間明日までなのでギリギリセーフ

ストランドビーストは10年くらい前から一目惚れして好きだったから、これ逃したら一生後悔しそうな気がする…となり死ぬ気で行ってきたけど間近で見られて本当によかった〜〜！！！

動いた瞬間「ウォァァァァカワイイーーーッ！！！！😭😭😭 :blobtoofast: :blobthrow: :blobtoofast: :blobthrow: 」
って鳥肌立って泣いちゃった

わぁいxanac無機物が生物を模倣する様子だいすき
自分で動かせるビーストもいてもちろん並んで体験した！最高だった…この簡素な素材でこんな生々しい動きするんや…えっちすぎる…

あと動画ではなかなか見られないポイントとして、飼育員さん(専属操縦者)がストランドビーストを稼働させる様子を見れてよかった、空気がプシュープシュー言ってスチームパンクっぽくて最高

あと最初ストランドビーストを作るためにプログラミングで使ってたATARIのデスクトップも展示してあって味わい深い

プラチューブ製のビーストの化石群の展示で、さすがに段ボールで作られたタイプのストランドビーストは展示なかったけど、耐久性の問題だろうなぁ
