Meaningless announcement, in 3 ways:
1. You can't produce more than your max capacity, so they'd have to physically expand manufacturing which isn't overnight or even a half-year.
2. The cost of diesel, like gasoline, like jet fuel, like heating oil, is high because of the risk premium for Gulf oil causing oil prices from all other places to go up, not because there isn't enough fuel.
3. If the US is going to process more fuel than before, it means processors have to buy more oil. More oil demand means having to bid up prices, which means higher baseline costs.
The price of oil, of gasoline, of diesel, of jet fuel, of heating oil, isn't going down until the #IranWar ends and the only price premium is the cost of whatever Iran charges. In the mean time, spin your wheels and waste more time and money, why don't you, Trump?

I wheeled my CabKing out onto the driveway, cleaned it and its heavy duty plastic cart, and filled the water source bucket with a mix of vinegar and tap water. The vinegar is necessary to keep the water valves from clogging up; I was really surprised to see that they weren't clogged when I first ran everything up. Now it's just a matter of organizing all the related equipment in closed plastic bins to keep the dust and pests out. At this point, it's good to go.👍🏻 #lapidary
