Let me try to explain this crazy intelligence disaster in Germany. The ex-BND chief August Hanning has been arrested for treason.
2,000 classified Chancellery briefings allegedly were purchased from a BND insider after he left office, repackaged for an unnamed foreign service.
The BND missed it all. Hamburg police stepped in, searching his house in a child-kidnapping case from a custody fight, where his firm worked for the mother and allegedly planned to plant CSAM on the father.
What a guy. And what kind of German mother is that? The one on trial for having her own kids kidnapped.
Germany's counterintelligence failure surfaced from this mother's abusive custody dispute, trying to destroy a father, rising into a national security scandal.
I hope that father and his kids at least get some justice.
