I'm happy & sad that my beloved truck is in the shop, but I wasn't hurt. Neither was the sign that *leaped* in front of me in the parking lot, wreaking havoc to my undercarriage.OTOH, I had PIZZA!!!! For the first time since 2015, when I realized I was lactose intolerant, I had delicious pizza, thanks to Amy's frozen vegan pizza. Can't wait to try the other available flavors!

Today, my joy comes from our visiting kitty, Fuzzbutt (we did NOT name him) coming out of his shell and starting to camp out on hubby's office chair back (with hubby in the chair!).Also, my truck messaged me to let me know I had a low pressure tire (there was a puncture) and the tire place put on the spare for free. Maybe they were embarrassed *I* had to google where the stuff was to lower the spare? [Behind psgr rear seat]

For those with Ford EV, looks like Google Maps has a bug with integration
Looks like rolling back to previous version of Google maps will fix it.
In the Mach-E integration, many of us are noticing that the destination mileage is being shown as 0.See the following

@jimsalter Wonder how much will just go into heating vs charging.
There was one night, going at 12A@120VAC, we didn't realize it was dropping to -28C outside... woke up to ~100 watt hours added. That's watt hours, not kilowatt hours.
At least it made the DCFC kick in at full rate when I got there.

@Engadget @tech-news-Engadget this is the problem with a lot of the #Tesla #Cybertruck ridicule. There are very few #EVs with its capabilities. And none in Europe. Now with the #Ford #F150Lightning out, there are even fewer.

@stephanie I frequent a small Caribbean Island Nation (for work), where I'm known as "the Canadian with the #F150Lightning" (at home, that is), and EVERYONE there sends me updates about whopping TWO Lightnings in the country - all the friggin' time.

@Nerdfest pretty seamless with my #F150Lightning - and yes, I have to tie up 2-3 spots at some stations. Mercifully I've only ever needed to use them about 4 times.

@silvermoon82 it's happening more and more; the 'hidden' cost of setting up EVSEs is significant though. Been seeing a bunch of medium-sized trades with EV vans showing up, gobs of Elechickens are driving Lightnings too.
