I have no idea what EV policy will be under the incoming administration (maybe the orange shit will give special dispensation to Tesla), but if you're looking into one and can wait, buy used.
I'd love to get one, but I can keep my 2014 Mazda running for about two more years and then get a used EV at a discount, regardless if the EV credit is stopped.
