    The focus of our discussion for the farbregen will be some works of visual art, with each work of art being using as a spark for conversation, but we will also close our time for our humanistic Kaddish, as well as kiddush and Ha'motzi.

Koboshvili, a Georgian Jew, began painting at the age of 61. the primary subjects of his work are scenes of Jewish life. he died before his works could be displayed publicly, and his exhibition remained in storage at the Georgian Jewish Museum in Tbilisi until the Soviet government seized and shut down the museum and the synagogue in which it was housed in 1952. his works now belong to the Georgian National Museum.

    In 1942, Szalit-Marcus was arrested in the Vel d'Hiv Roundup, and she was deported to Auschwitz where she was murdered. Her Paris studio was ransacked, and many of her works destroyed
