  1. Priya Parker, author of The Art of Fighting, helps us learn how to fight with the people we want to belong to, and to hold the space that happens even before repair. How do we stay in relationship around issues that matter while confronting real differences; harm; fear; urgency; and power?

  2. From Keshet:
All of us at Keshet know first-hand how life-changing these resources can be, which is why we spent time this summer curating a slate of Back to School resources to provide support for educators and students in public schools, Jewish day schools, preschools, and supplementary religious schools.

  5. From NCJW: As rabbis and Jewish clergy, you are often the first person someone turns to during moments both big and small, when they’re looking for a thoughtful listener or seeking words of advice or encouragement. Yet some of us may not feel fully equipped to offer the unconditional, informed, and judgment-free support that our communities deserve.

That's why we're inviting you to join us for All Options for Pregnancy Support, a pastoral care training series designed to equip Jewish clergy with the tools needed to support people navigating decisions around pregnancy options — including abortion, parenting, adoption, medical circumstances, and more.

The training takes place over three Zoom sessions:
    - Wednesday, August 12 | 1:00 –5:00 pm ET (4 hours)
    - Wednesday, August 19 | 1:00–5:00 pm ET (4 hours)
    - Wednesday, August 26 | 1:00–2:30 pm ET (90 minutes)

  6. From Beit Avi Chai:
“We need to shift our relationship to the Three Weeks. Rather than thinking about them as simply three weeks of mourning, it’s a chance for us to draw meaning from our historical tragedies and use it as an opportunity to reflect on today’s challenges.”

The transformation into an unapologetic death cult seems like it happened so fast, but apparently the seeds were planted many generations ago.

Every ethnic group has their own origin story. Jews were not formed from clay by Enki, neither were they found under a clamshell by Raven. Jews exist because of divine intervention on the behalf of the workers in a labor dispute over working conditions.
