Saturday Worship Services in Raleigh
Seventh-day Adventist Worship
Saturday is the biblical Sabbath for Seventh-day Adventist churches, with services typically including Sabbath School followed by worship.

- Capital City Seventh-day Adventist Church

Catholic Saturday Vigil Mass
Many Catholic parishes celebrate Vigil Mass on Saturday evening.

The Triangle’s Jewish community observes Shabbat with Saturday morning worship, Torah study, and fellowship.

- Shabbat services and programming (schedule varies by week)
Muslim Prayer & Community
The Islamic Association of Raleigh offers daily prayers throughout the week, including Saturdays, along with educational programs and community activities.
Weekend schedules may include family programming, Qur’an study, and youth activities in addition to daily prayers.

The experience of time and memory is so subjective. It is not fixed at all in our lived experience, which is amplified by some through being either neurodivergent or by having a mind-altering experience (such as that spurred by meditative pracitce or drug use).
Enjoying the peaceful evening. It's overcast here, cool and damp. #Oklahoma can be a nice place sometimes.
Also, it's not long until #Shabbat. -
Three times I tried. Three times I failed. And now I finally see why—beautiful things reveal themselves in their own slow, inconsiderate time.
כָּל הַדְּבָרִים הַיָּפִים בֶּאֱמֶת מִתְגַּלִּים בִּזְמַנָּם הָאִטִּי, הַבִּלְתִּי מִתְחַשֵּׁב

The Sabbath. So often, we busy ourselves with rote actions: we read a devotional, we read a passage from the Bible, or we pray—out of obligation instead of devotion. But we very rarely practice rest. For the majority of the week, our time and attention is consumed by work of one kind or another. So, in participating in the Sabbath, we need to set firm boundaries that separate that day from work.
