  1. Marco Rubio: Time for civilization to fight the darkness

It is helpful to clarify the situation by terming this particular socio-political abomination of promoting borderlessness, Wokeism, Islamism, no proper security but persecution for citizens of states hosting mass illegal migrants, and two-tier policing as a form of the ‘Far Left’.

  10. Ann Widdecombe’s death should make Britain ask itself: what sort of political culture do we want? | Gaby Hinsliff

Dehumanising politicians is the first step towards justifying their elimination. It matters more than ever to keep putting the person back into the picture

  11. I was waiting for this: House of Lords / Baroness Royall: “Algorithms Killed Ann Widdecombe”

For certain politicians, anything other than individual action and social unrest:

  12. There's a temporary NOTAM over the house in Kimberworth Park where Ann Widdecombe's murder investigation continues.

That means no UAV flying. No drones or model aircraft allowed.

It does mean one of my regular practice spots is currently out of bounds.

  19. “This morning Richard Tice, the Reform UK deputy leader, posted a message on social media claiming the Times’ coverage [of Farage's exploitation of the Widdecombe murder] was ‘sick’ and asking: ‘How many more Reform politicians do you want dead?’”

Not so much a question of be careful what you wish for, as be careful what you are asking for.

A couple of thoughts on Ann Widdecombe:

    1. Murdering people is wrong. If she was murdered, then I do not condone that in any way, and I hope that they get whoever did it and lock them up for a long time.

    2. I don't get this "you must not speak ill of the dead" thing. The dead should be remembered for who they were, not who we would have liked them to be. Widdecombe was a nasty piece of work. She was anti-abortion, pro-death penalty, anti-LGBT rights, and, as prisons minister, directly responsible for the policy of shackling pregnant prisoners. Just because she was kind to animals doesn't mean she should be remembered with fondness.
