Interesting - they didn't lock off the #alleyway nor fill it with #CCTV, just tidied it up and put pretty flowers etc there and the #crime plummeted
I do wonder though if one reason was that the flowers etc need looking after, so there would always middle aged people and seniors in the alleyway - making it far less attractive for people to take or deal drugs there or flytip ( essentially a form of human #sousveillance / #surveillance )

Ein Videobeweis hat keine Gültigkeit mehr und ein selbst valide wirkender Account kann gehijackt sein und 1:1 den gleichen Content machen um so einen "fast shift"¹ taktisch zu verschleiern.
Ich sag' nicht dass das Internet "verloren" ist, sondern dass wir unsere Metriken, also unser Gedankenpattern, wie wir was erkennen, ändern müssen. Sonst holt dich die Master of Social-eningeering #KI. Dein vermeindliches Kind ruft an. Von einer anderen Nummer, die nicht vom Kind ist - sondern vom US/EU-Datenzentrum, welche 1:1 die Stimme kopiert und nach Geld fragt, weil es im Wald die Fahradkette gesprungen ist oder das Auto kaputt gegangen ist, dabei ist das Handy "kaputt" gegangen und dein Kind musste sich desswegen ein anderes Handy leihen - natürlich gelogen, aber im Ernstfall wäre Vorgang exakt der gleiche. Angelehnt dazu wäre dazu

Drohnen durch KI durchaus manipuliert werden können und die #CCTV nochmal eine Schippe stärker, manipuliertes Material anzeigen kann ohne das man es mitbekommt.

3. Spying on everyday activities. Promoters try to call this "putting up #CCTV cameras to keep you safe", but what it actually does is help track your movements in real life, so there's never a private space where you can discuss things away from the eyes of an oppressive (local or foreign) government. This makes it trivial for the party or entity in power to round up those opposing it so that it can remain in power, indefinitely.

I’m currently watching an ABC iView drama series called #TheCapture. The central theme is ubiquitous #CCTV coverage coupled to #AI and #FacialRecognition. It is a BBC series so the action happens in the UK. The story expands on London’s CCTV coverage and the ability to identify anyone based on facial recognition software. It extrapolates this technology to marry it up with advances in #AI ability to fake video footage with dire consequences of course. It makes for a chilling series and more that a little unsettling considering what #TechBros can already do today because it is but a short step to what is portrayed.
I’ve just made sure both cameras on my iPad are securely taped over. Can’t do much about the microphone, but I’m a quiet person anyway.
If this sounds like panic… no, it’s not… well at least not yet…
You never know who’s watching you though…
Ps. Don’t take this too seriously, we have a few years to go before such technology is possible and becomes a tool to pervert the course of justice and enable Ai-driven technolog given the power to be judge and jury and, dare I say, the executioner.

Hell yeah, when my teacher/the editor of my school's newsletter was underwhelmed with the options we'd come up with for lead stories (I hated them too) I successfully sold her on a story about our town becoming a surveillance state with AI-powered license plate recognizing cameras across the city.

Я начал замечать открытые щитки у себя на этаже, в голове пронеслись мысли про favourite guys в поисках запрещённых ресурсов, потому решил озаботиться круглосуточным видеонаблюдением лестничной площадки. Заказал на Али недорогую рыбоглазую камеру и влепил её под потолок прямо над щитком. Но мой бюджет был ограничен, а в тумбочке лежит несколько неиспользуемых Андройд телефонов, их то я и решил применить в качестве NVR устройства, вместо покупки такового. А ещё телефон меньше жрут и совсем не шумят, в отличие от хардварных версий записывающих устройств. Встроенной карты памяти на камере нет, поэтому нужно внешнее устройство. Загуглил, попробовал несколько программ и остановился на одной из них, которая выглядела как самая зрелая, с большим количеством функций, да ещё и платной версией. Платную версию конечно же купить у нас нельзя, но скачать её патченную сестру с 4pda можно, что я и сделал. Алексей (автор), прости, но другого варианта у меня не было.
