A very simple way to draw HAKMEM 149 based structures by using whole 32 bits range with upper bits as coordinates using unsigned shifts.
This also works with a lower range but it loses precision.
The oblique version is even simpler by removing the last two operations.
The structure looks like Apollonian net or Hopalong attractors.
This drawing method also works with other attractors or Gingerbread man map etc.

I’ve done a couple of #AnimatedGifs of #sunsets before and the conditions seemed right today. The program I used was the #Unix commands #convert and #gifsicle to reduce the image size which produces no #aliasing artefacts that you can get with something like #Gimp. Still, you can see how the #Sun sets at an oblique angle at this #latitude.

I found this peculiar thing on eBay, a scan of the editorial page to a 1962 special issue of the magazine Royal Airforce Flying Review.
I'll let the accompanying text speak for itself. But I'll add that I can only presume that it was a one-off for the purposes of showing off and not at all a serious proposal. You'd think otherwise there'd be *some* other documentation of it.
The original was at an oblique angle, so I fixed that in PS and did some other cleanup.

This technique (TESOS) brings resin embedding to solvent-cleared samples. The resulting #organogels are stable enough to allow block-face imaging with an oblique LSM. Already pretty big with whole adult mice, but I'd love to see this scaled up to human-organ size.

Got my MRI results and definitely did more damage to the knee back in 2019 than just the MCL.
"MRI of the knee demonstrates an extensive horizontal oblique tear of the medial meniscus involving the posterior horn and into the midbody medial meniscus with associated parameniscal cysts Mild subchondral marrow edema along the medial joint line likely reflects consequence of altered biomechanical stress from weightbearing on a dysfunctional medial meniscus."
