Indications de méditation
On pourrait dire que la méditation n’a besoin ni de raison ni de but.
Ainsi envisagée, elle se situe à l’opposé de toutes nos activités, exceptées peut-être la danse et la musique.
Quand nous faisons de la musique, ce n’est pas pour atteindre un certain point, qui serait, par exemple, la fin du morceau. Si tel était le but de la musique, le meilleur exécutant serait évidemment le plus rapide.
Et quand nous dansons, nous ne nous déplaçons pas pour atteindre un certain endroit, un lieu donné, comme en voyage. Quand nous dansons, c’est le voyage même qui est le but; quand nous faisons de la musique, c’est la musique qui est à elle-même sa propre fin.
Il en est exactement de même pour ce qui est de la méditation.
La méditation est découverte que le but est déjà là, dans le moment présent.

Le mot « personne » en français comme en anglais, vient du latin persona, ce qui signifie ; ce au travers de quoi (per) le son (sona) passe. Il s’agit aussi des masques portés autrefois par les acteurs du théâtre classique. Ces masques étaient dotés de larges bouches faisant offices de mégaphone, ce qui permettait de porter le son plus loin. Ainsi le persona, la personne, c’est le masque, c’est à dire le rôle que vous jouez.
L’image que vous avez de vous-même est une institution sociale au même titre que, par exemple la division des jours en vingt-quatre heures ou du mètre en cent centimètres ou que le tracé purement imaginaire des latitudes et des longitudes à la surface de la terre.
Exactement de la même manière l’image que vous avez de vous-même est un concept imaginaire, pas autre chose en réalité qu’une caricature

Just back from measuring our latitude (which I do roughly four times a year) and, for the first time, our longitude.
Latitude was pretty good, got to within about 15 km.
Longitude less good. Got about 6.8 degrees, but the actual value is about 3 degrees.
Wondering what went wrong ... need to think about how to "fix" that.

I had simply more luck 😉 or did something different. Installation and running debian on different machines, new and old ones, from Dell (Desktops and Laptops), Lenovo (Desktops and Laptops), intel nuc (Desktop) and Terra (Laptop), Razer (Laptop) was without any problems.

I5-6300 2.4 GHz, 8 GB RAM (plus free socket awaiting the AI bubble bursting), Intel Wifi+Ethernet, matte 14" FHD display, nice keyboard, trackpoint, even the battery has some life left in it and isn't trying to bust out.
Came with a sad story though - sold in a hurry to finance someones hospital stay 😞
Surprisingly, Dell has the nicest and most complete UEFI implementation I've ever seen.
And a clever solution for how to put a proper RJ45 port on a slim computer without having to resort to flimsy folding contraptions.
