Flashing the latest #weekly to my today recieved #oneplus6t of #mobian results in a black screen at bootup. Tried the workaround with #abootimg but still just a black screen.
The #mobian 12 image (not weekly) at least boots, but can not be upgraded since afterwards the phone is cursed with a #bootloop to #fastbootAnyone any ideas?

@hergertme yeah, I mainly put out the post for distros like #RaspberryPi OS, #MobianOS etc. which probably won't ship releases >= 4.12 for quite a while but might benefit a lot.

Nachdem ich jetzt die aktuellste Version des #TowBoot Bootloaders und das jüngste Release von #Mobian auf meinem #PinePhonePro installiert habe, scheint das Display auch wieder aus dem Standby-Betrieb aufzuwachen. Dann kann ich mich in den nächsten Tagen ja mal wieder damit beschäftigen, das Ding als "Daily Driver" fertig einzurichten. Yay \o/
Wobei jetzt natürlich auch noch die Chance besteht, ein anderes OS auf die eMMC zu werfen. Wie sieht es denn momentan mit #GloDroid oder #SailfishOS aus? Sind sie einen (erneuten) Blick wert? -
Si quelqu'un hésite encore à abandonner Android|IPhone pour un vrai OS...
Je viens de configurer exim4 via ansible sur mon #pinephone sur #mobian pour envoyer des mails via #galae.

@martijnbraam Huh? On your video, before you remove the SD card, TowBoot boots to the SD card first.
On mine, it seems to ignore the SD card (Manjaro) and go straight to the internal OS (Mobian).
Could this be because of the different OS's installed? I know PostmarketOS has been doing more with TowBoot, so I'm wondering if it's more stable with it than say Manjaro on my SD card... 🤔

I have written a new wiki entry at Mobian about PinePhone or similar mobile devices. With this you can use Japanese IME without Google just like same on the computer and without restrictions.

Der größte Hammer ist der Wegfall des Sozialtickets #DresdenPass.
Und das alles wegen läppischer 9,2 Millionen im Jahr.
Es ist wohl nur eine Auflistung von Potentialen, aber allein den Dresdenpass anfassen zu wollen, während man die Erhöhung der Parkgebühren scheut, wie der #Zastrow den #ÖPNV ist bodenlos sein Urgroßvater 🤬

She sadly dropped one of her special tails when being Roboticized due to "Inefficient aerodynamics".
