  1. It seems that it's not possible to install pmbootstrap from git using pipx, because it doesn't pass user's input to stdin, therefore it doesn't read the typed password. Now I'll test it without pipx, but I have some doubts that it will work #pinephone

  9. @postmarketOS Hey, nothing to do with froscon, but could you provide a link to download the last pre-build image (23.06 if I remember well) supporting the full disk enc. , for the #Pinephone? Me and others badly need it, since pmbootstrap doesn't work. A torrent file would also be ok, I'll keep it alive. Please.

  14. OK so I was at fault here. I thought that I was connected to a land based service but it seems I was not. The dates of the usage tally with the two night boats we took in July.

I contacted customer service at ICE (not the scary US ICE but the Nordic telecoms company) to get this information and they gave me a credit on my bill for over half the unexpected amount if I blocked non-EU use on my account.

Which seems a good swap. I can remove this block when I want to.

  19. I have just discovered that one of my PinePhones was connected to a satellite 4G connection on a European ferry for four seconds and this cost me over EUR 35.

I am trying to see if the connection was made while I was on the ferry or in the port before boarding.

  24. @Domi iOS fait déjà ça depuis longtemps, donc c'est le monde que google est en train de répandre plutôt... mais j'ai signée. Au pire, on utilisera des #PinePhone sous #Linux.

  28. What should I do with my #PinePhone + keyboard case... :moomin_hmm:
I guess I'd need to unbrick it first before I can consider it for anything actually useful.
It's kinda fucked up that my hacked pmOS Chromebook has infinitely better battery life than the PinePhone. :neofox_pensive:

  33. First time navigating with #postmarketOS on the #PinePhone using #PureMaps today. First impressions weren't very good as navigation kept failing due to that my origin was set to somewhere the phone couldn't navigate from and it was a bit non-obvious how to fix this. Once that was fixed the rest was surprisingly smooth sailing! Sometimes Pure Maps would think I went off the assigned route when I was just moving forward on the correct street with my bike but that could be the PinePhone's fault.
