#WIP - Been meaning to update my site design for a little while now.
One day you like a new #design idea, the next you hate it. My design process involves a lot of testing ideas. But I'm trying to wrap things up and stop redesigning things. 😁
My latest #Inkscape lesson has been to use Swatches! It took getting used to, but holy cow working with the same set of colors is so much easier now!

I just want #Krita's palette and color selector tools in #Inkscape or Inkscape's bezier shape tool in Krita. Is that really so much to ask?

Booted up an old Win laptop today and noticed I had #Inkscape 0.92 on it, so for fun I started playing around with it, and I still kind of prefer the old UI 🙂
So for even more fun I wanted to see if I could get it working on Ubuntu 24.04 (my main laptop), it still got GTK2 in the repo. After some minor tweaks to the code I actually got it building and running.

L'auteur est Laurent Porcheret, maître de conf' en géographie à l'INSPE Paris.
L'extension est dispo pour Windows ou Mac. Ça ne doit pas être bien compliqué de l'installer sous Linux (je n'ai pas essayé).

After moving from #launchpad and #bzr, we don't have the energy to move the project again. So it looks like we'll be putting up with whatever GitLab decides to do to us.
A large complicated and, ingrown project like ours would need some very special attention to move. Unfortunately.
