Um relato dos meus sentimentos misturados a respeito do #Manjaro e minha simultânea incompetência e competência:

Nas últimas semanas andei "bootando de um snapshot" no meu micro do dia a dia, e hoje finalmente quebrou tudo e bootava mais. Aí, tome de bootar de um pendrive, e acessar anotações que eu tenho pra fazer o chroot... acho tudo muito difícil pq tenho que decriptar o hd, e montar partições diversas, não manjo exatamente o que estou fazendo, sigo a receita anotada, muitos passos.
Em seguida, reinstalei kernels com pamac -S linuxXX e mhwd-kernel, reinstalar o grub, e usei o mkinitcpio -P pra recriar as "imagens" dos kernels pro boot. Não sei o que resolveu exatamente o problema (tinha tentado esse mkinitcpio -P faz algumas semanas, sem ser bootando do pendrive, e não tinha funcionado)
De um lado sou grato por ter conseguido fazer as coisas funcionarem, grato pelo esforço de muitas pessoas voluntárias fazendo o Manjaro ser teoricamente "mais fácil" pra algumas pessoas, por outro lado acho tudo muito difícil e não consigo imaginar outras pessoas do meu convívio fazendo essas coisas, nem eu consigo entender o que estou fazendo!
Será que não teria como ser mais fácil? Será que um dia vou achar fácil?

ich glaube ich hab lust noch mal meine distro zu wechseln. Fahre hier seit einigen Jahren #Manjaro, habt ihr empfehlungen, was sich lohnt mal aus zu probieren?
Vielleicht sollte ich mal #Nix ausprobieren, ich habe gute Dinge gehört.

Soy una persona no binaria de #México y vieje conocide del Fediverso, pero no he estado por aquí últimamente. Tenía una cuenta en queer.party y, como ya no existe esa instancia, quiero encontrar nuevas conexiones, no duden en seguirme si tenemos intereses en común o en recomendarme cuentas para seguir.

Soy #trans, #NoBinarie, #genderflux, #agénero, #maverique, #arromántique #demiarro, #polisexual, #tórique, #nobiane y #poliamorose.
Uso el género neutro, pronombre elle, pero abierte a neopronombres (elli, ellu), excepto pronombres gráficos (ellx, ell_).

Me encanta cualquier cosa que tenga que ver con el #terror (sobre todo pelis), pueden ir a Letterboxd para ver mis reseñas. Mi peli favorita es Chopping Mall (1986).

Ya no suelo ver muchas series porque odio cuando las cancelan y no les dan un final digno, cosa que pasa mucho, pero también me pueden encontrar en Serializd.

Mi lista de lectura está dominada por la #NovelaNegra (sobre todo nórdica) pero también me gusta leer novelas de terror, de #RomanceQueer, o cualquier cosa que me pique la curiosidad.

I usually don't watch shows now, I hate when they get cancelled and the story gets no proper ending, which happens a lot, but you can also find me at Serializd.

My reading list is predominantly #CrimeFiction (mainly Nordic) but I also like reading horror, #QueerRomance, and anything that piques my curiosity.

I'm some kind of a #geek and enjoy #FOSS, my main OS has been #LinuxMint for 5 years now, and I have an old laptop for distrohopping, currently using #Manjaro and #Debian. My secondary OS is #macOS.

I installed #KDE Plasma on my Chromebook-running-linux (Linuxbook? LBook? ArchBook?) and not only does it seem to run about as well as #xfce, it has somehow fixed the sound.

Which is nice, because I went in on the assumption that I would have no audio.

I have been #swearing 🤬 at my Manjaro v24 powered laptop, for forcing me to use the finger pointing thing. Not a keypad. #Touchpad or #trackpad. Or rubbish as it should be called. Prefer the #mouse which was working then suddenly #hiccuped.

I will try again shortly to see if it has #learned any #sense. Or better still if I have. #Manjaro and #GNU-Debian (using that at the moment) are both using #Gnome desktop environment. I always tended towards xfce due to speed and minimum #resources. Never really liked KDE too may options/fiddling about. #Puppy #Linux which I am more familiar with, used some very minimal windowing systems. ​:blobcatstrong:​

Jetzt noch #Linux #Mint in meiner Testphase testen.
Mint ist mir ja bekannt und trotzdem muss ich es am 10 Jahre alten Lappi mal testen. Bisher laeuft es und auch nicht uebel.
Aber, ich glaube das mir #Debian mit der #SolyDX Version auch super gefallen kann.
Ach, einfach eine schwere Entscheidung. #Manjaro hat sich gerade ein wenig nach hinten geschoben. Das man da HDMI nicht einfach als Ausgang bestimmen kann, finde ich doof. Oder habe ich was uebersehen

Heute noch mal am testen einer #Linux Distro. Dieses mal noch die #SolyDX Version und ich muss sagen das die genau so gut funzt wie #Manjaro gestern.

Ich muss sagen, sich durch die einzelnen Distros zu testen, macht unheimlich Spaß. Allein die unterschiedlichen Ansätze die dort verfolgt werden
