Das sehe ich nicht so Stephan, ich nutze seit der Version Maya (2012) gerne Linux Mint. Habe #fedora, #ubuntu, #budgie, #suse, #manjaro, #debian #zorin, #tails, #solus, #tuxedoos ausführlich im Betrieb gehabt.

Bin aber jetzt endgültig bei #linuxmint lmde :linuxmint: , also die Debian-Version geblieben.

Es ist eine ausgereifte Distribution, wo alles am besten zusammenpasst.👍

Also meine klare Empfehlung für Anfänger und fortgeschrittene 🏅

Ja, der Desktop meines alten Acer-Schätzchens sieht fast genau aus wie die Tage. Aber unter de Haube ist alles neu. Man beachte das Menü-Logo. :-)

Hier haben wir #Manjaro #XFCE bei Arbeit. #SparkyLinux war nett, aber das Bessere ist der Feind des Guten. Und ich habe nun mal eine Schwäche für #Arch. Schon des mit #yay, #pacseek und #pamac leicht zugänglichen Softwareangebots wegen.

#Fooyin hier zu installieren, war eine Sache von Sekunden, unter #Sparky (#Debian) leider wie berichtet ein Graus. Mag ein spezieller Fall gewesen sein, aber sei's drum.

Egal. Nun ist wieder alles so wie ich es gern habe. Nur noch schnell den #Server per #NFS ins Boot holen und ein paar hilfreiche Links setzen.

Dann ist auch der 16 Jahre alte #Travelmate #7740G wieder ein vollwertiges Mitglied meiner Rechnerfamilie. 🤓

Estoy en Manjaro, vean mi configuración de ZRAM, funcionando sin la linea "fs-type = swap".
Linea que me he visto obligado a añadir al post después de que @yoyo308 comentase que no le funcionó sin esa linea.
Bueno, algo ha cambiado, aunque sigo ignorando el qué.

Ich habe jetzt seit ca. einem halben Jahr #KDE im Einsatz. Insgesamt finde ich es echt nett, viel besser als früher, aber… bis auf die Widgets (die schon nett sind), sehe ich bisher echt keinen Gewinn gegenüber #Xfce.

Ich komme von jahrelanger Xfce-Nutzung und sooo viel anders ist KDE jetzt irgendwie nicht.

Daher: Hat jemand noch Tipps, was man ausprobieren sollte? Habt ihr "Selling points" für KDE? Vielleicht übersehe ich ja einfach was. 🙂
