Should I switch from #NVIDIA (595) drivers to X.Org's open-source?

As a first step.

In the past, I've had much success using abraunegg's OneDrive client for linux. The only downsides are that the initial setup uses the terminal (not a big deal, tbh..) and the fact that it stores everything in your OneDrive locally.

With this new(to me) system running Kubuntu, I do not have the local storage space to implement this. Any suggestions that will enable me to seamlessly use OneDrive and allow for virtual remote files without storing everything locally?

I know that I can still use the web version if necessary, but prefer to not use a browser everytime.

Logically: anyone who chooses to reject FreeBSD on that basis may also choose to reject all projects that use OpenZFS. I can not recommend such sweeping rejections.

I have a #kubuntu 26.04 rig that every handful of minutes just...stutters. It's like the transmission on car just slips and doesn't do anything for a brief moment and then resumes. Biggest impact is during my online games where I might miss a shot.

Where can I start to debug such an intermittent item?

This blip occur outside of games in just the basic OS as well, so I don't think it's network related.

Something changed with #Kubuntu 25.10 over the past week. Now all of a sudden I'm getting #prompted for my #sudo #password every time #PackageKit runs to update package sources (which is several times a day)!

Fortunately, you can create a custom #PolKit #rule to let it run without prompting you!
