@ubuntu i recently tried installing kubuntu resolute with encryption and the installer has an error there:

It uses LUKS2 instead of LUKS1

Grub is by default only compartible with LUKS1

For LUKS2 ist a maunal configuration witch dracut neccecary which can be very annoying

I tried that with the help of deepseek and failed i can upload the german AI chats if someone is interested

Please fix that ubuntu team

#Kubuntu 26.04 gets plus-points for Linux-Steam being able to run almost* all of my silly Windows colored-ball-smasher games (at long last), but minus-points for Eye of MATE always crashing on startup.

I have not yet been able to find any information about this issue.

(* Luxor 2 insists that it needs Win 98SE or later. There's probably a fix for this...)

If you want to use #openrgb on #Kubuntu 26.04 but can't get the .deb to install because of missing dependencies (libcryto7 etc).

It's in Synaptic. That works great.

Aus Langeweile* mal #Kubuntu auf dem alten Thinkpad gegen #Fedora getauscht. Mmhja. Gnome fühlt sich ein bisschen wie so ein Kinder-Computer mit nur 3 bunten Knöpfen an. Weiß ja nicht.

Then I tried it again, but it still didn‘t work. Didn‘t pair, and failed with some obscure dmesg texts.
Days ago I read that the dongle exceeds the USB2 5V500mA spec, and works better on USB3 ports.
Well, now it works.
