  3. I usually have 1 #banana, 1/2 scoop #whey #protein + 1/2 scoop #vegan protein + 4 Brazil #nuts and a couple of other nuts for breakfast. Somehow this makes me nauseated and just doesn't seem to sit well with my stomach. Oh, and a few #supplements - #creatine, #vitamins C&D, vitamin B complex, #magnesium, fish oil. I also used to take #psyllium husk but it just makes the breakfast feel even heavier. Gotta see which of all these elements may be upsetting my stomach...

  4. Bread has risen!

Both made with the cheese whey from above.

The poppyseeded loaf is 50% emmer flour and 50% strong white, both from Doves Farm. Hydration about 70%. Squeeze of honey.

The portioned dough is 100% strong white from Holkham, and about 65% hydration... these are for pizza.

  5. Turning the raw milk from the North Norfolk autocow into curds and whey, basically sliced up plain junket at this point.

This is 4 litres of milk into which 1.5 tsp of citric acid was added whilst heating, then sufficient rennet was added at 32°C and it was rested for 10 mins before cutting.

    There you go @LifeTimeCooking :)

  6. CW: Food experiment

Did I make protein icecream? I shook plain whey protein isolate with water until it foamed them I folded it into some microwaved frozen berries, then put it in the freezer. No picture because it didn't look good but it tasted quite nice. I bet it would be better if I folded in some fat too.
I looked up "whey foam" and all I got was people complaining about it not people using it as part of a recipe. I think it's the same mechanism that makes egg whites foam.

  10. CW: My Fitness Journey - Shake, no bake

My Fitness Journey - Shakes have replaced dinner. Whey protein, half a cup of whole milk, banana, 5 cashews, 5 almonds, a cup of oatmeal. Mix it all in a blender and down the hatch. I was hungry before the shake, I'm still hungry after the shake but that's all I get until breakfast tomorrow morning. #myFitnessJourney #shake #diet #foreverHungry #stopComplaining #firstWorldProblems #fatToFit
