But the emergency coffee beans, before our regular supply arrives, are awful.
They taste burnt, bitter. -

Accidentally an hour too early at a doctor’s appointment and I forgot to bring something to read. Again. 🙄
I’m ALMOST bored enough to read one of the magazines provided in the waiting area, even though I’m not too interested in cars, sports, or old German celebrities.
Well, maybe the reactionary women’s magazine has some nice recipes. 🤔

Is it just a Safari on iOS thing that when I read a long article and get back to it after a few hours, the browser reloads the page and scrolls to the top? #firstWorldProblems

I'm sitting in my office with a pair of Giro bike gloves on, hoping that after a wash and some wear they will stretch a little and not cut into the gap between ring and middle finger. They fit fine otherwise.

We're using an IKEA baking tray to organize our breakfast stuff in the fridge. Makes it much easier to get all the stuff in and out at once.
However, my wife wasn't happy with how to sort all the stuff in in an accessible way.
So here's my solution: a 3d printed insert with movable dividers that allows us to arrange the packages vertical, making each of them accessible without having to lift others.

I got a haircut yesterday and normally also trim the groin, but I forgot to set the trim height... so now I'm shorn.... now I need to decide to keep it shaved again or let it grow. #firstworldproblems

#TFW a toot nearly a week old is still getting boosted occasionally, often enough to keep it going. It Just Won't Die.

I would love to have a way to sync my Kindle, the Xteink X4, and my audiobook app.
Being able to jump from one device to the next depending on the circumstances is awesome and super convenient, but manually finding the point at which I am on the book every time I swap is a bit of a pain in the ass

Ordered a wrist watch from germany, received a battered and empty package. Contacted seller (who is actually the manufacturer) to ask what the claim process is.
And now I wait, because timezones.

Ah, the Vision Pro - the Swiss Army knife of *not using it a ton* 🤦♂️. Apparently, its coolest use is helping folks decide where to put their #IKEA #shelves during their first-world problem of building a house 🏡. Who knew spatial computing was the key to home decor dilemmas? 🙄

The AVR in my home theater is giving out, HDMI out from it is giving a heavy green tint to images. The eARC functionality seems fine, so I can plug things into the TV and pass through audio for now at least. I just bought a few new HDDs for my server, so replacing the AVR will have to wait for awhile if I can't fix it.
I think the root problem is a loose HDMI jack, but I'm dreading unplugging my whole 5.1.4 setup to take the AVR apart and check it out.

#FirstWorldProblems now that I've "gotten up from shiva" (week of formal mourning following Mom's funeral is over) and I'm going back to work (from home) tomorrow, I'd like to take my motorcycle out to get lunch tomorrow in the expected beautiful weather, but we have so much left over of the good food that kind people brought us during shiva that it would be woefully irresponsible not to eat in. D'oh.
