MultibootOS 2.2 for PiStorm
Press release: MultibootOS 2.2 has been released, continuing development of the multi-boot environment for PiStorm-equipped Amiga systems. MultibootOS allows multiple Amiga distributions to be run from a single microSD card, avoiding the need to swap cards or use external extenders. It supports real hardware such as Amiga 500, 600, 1200 and 2000 with PiStorm, as well as emulation via WinUAE and FS-UAE.

Until I’ve made up my mind, I’ve ordered a bigger USB (C) stick which I’ll prepare for #multiBoot. I was surprised that there are at least 2 solutions for booting multiple images from one stick.
1. Ventoy (recommended for ease of use) … https://github.com/ventoy/Ventoy
2. YUMI … https://pendrivelinux.com/yumi-multiboot-usb-creator/
The third option I found, MultiBootUSB, seems to be dead. -
SDBox Multiboot 0.7.1
SDBox allows SD cards to be used via the parallel port. Now SDBox-Multiboot version 0.7.1 of a disk image is now available, which can be used to start Workbench on any Amiga model from SDBox. It is also possible to store multiple Workbench installations so that the one corresponding to the Kickstart ROM installed will be selected.

Huldigt mir, ich habe ein #Linux / #Windows #Multiboot System, dass noch mit #BIOS und Masterbootrecord startete, in ein #UEFI Multiboot System umgebaut.
Natürlich ohne Daten zu kopieren oder Backups zu nehmen.
Dazu musste ich ein EFI fähiges WinRE Bootmedium bauen, was man erstaunlicherweise nicht nicht bei MS herunter laden kann.
Immerhin ist dokumentiert, wie man es in einem Frankensteinprozess zusammenstückelt.Ohne das bekommt man kein EFI boot mit korrekter BCD für Windows hin.

4 операционные системы на одном ПК
В году 2009-м у меня был ноутбук Dell Inspiron 1525, с 2 ядрами, 2 Гб ОЗУ и 250 HDD. К этому времени я уже 6 лет как изучал и использовал операционную систему FreeBSD, 4 года погружался в Linux (с помощью Gentoo и коллеги (привет, WinterHeat!!!)) и работал в небольшой ИТ-фирме. В определенный момент мне захотелось поставить на ноут 4 операционные системы: Windows 7, Linux, FreeBSD и какую то сборку с MacOSX (Hachintosh), нарытую где то на торрентах. При этом никакого UEFI/GPT у меня не было, только MBR, только 4 Primary Partitions.... Заняло это целый день, Linux пришлось ставить на загрузчик Lilo (в /dev/sda2) (спасибо документации Gentoo), FreeBSD ставился на слайсы, путем разбиения /dev/ad3 (он же /dev/sda3) на внутренние a,b,c,d,e подпартиции. Результатом я был доволен, полгода-год пользовался, игрался ))) Но больше такую задачку я себе не ставил и думал, что в этом нет необходимости.

2/. I had forgotten the possible use of ALT-TAB to switch between MSDOS & Windows 3.1, once MSDOS was launched from Windows 3.1 by Command.com. With the possibility of having real DOS in Windowed Mode on top of Windows 3.1. It can be so useful! :0)

#Retro Experiments of the Day (or night):
1/. Installing Windows 3.1 does not alter the installation of MSDOS 6.22 in any way except for a slight modification of the AUTOEXEC. BAT and CONFIG.SYS files without any impact on the operation of MSDOS. In any case, Windows 3.1 required having MSDOS installed beforehand, when it was released. Its #1 floppy disk did not boot.

1./ I sort an unnamed CD and DVD pile, without labels, to see their content. I come across a Windows XP Pro SP3 installation DVD. Until then nothing very exciting. I almost never read the Readme.htm. Do you do it? Ok, let's go: read it. I click here & there, it's pretty well explained. And I arrive at this chapter which explains that we can quite install multiple different versions of Windows, if we do from the oldest to the most recent.

Just wanted to know if Debian 12.08 could run on this little Samsung N210 Machine.
It works well! But.. I really need to find a Linux distrib running fast with only 2 Go of Ram.
Any ideas/suggestions?

Ok, here we are with this Samsung N210: a multiboot MSDOS 6.22 / Windows XP Pro.
Running Windows XP Disks Management we see we have 4 partitions: 1.) MSDOS. 2.) Windows XP. 3.) The partition for Games (and data). And 4.) the last one to install a Linux distrib (still not created).
Things are still going good! :0)

If someone could help me out with a multi boot install, I would be delighted! 😁
On the i5 2019 computer, I have:
- a 512 GB NVMe SSD (original disk) on which Win 11 is installed, and which currently boots by default;
- a new blank 1 TB SSD, on which I want to install in // Debian 12 (512 GB), OpenBSD (256 GB) and Arch Linux (256 GB).
I don't know where to start and how to do it! 😆
