I just found out that #decibleLinux AKA #Gentoo Studio exists.
Apparently it's been around for a while. They recommed using #SystemRescueCD to install which is a little funky but, not surprizing in the slightest. lol
Today I spent transferring files off my old #laptop b/c I realized that it wasn't using the ancient dedicated GPU & I messed up installing the drivers like a n00b. So, now I'm going to try out some new OSes. See what I can get installed & run RAID 0.
Other contenders are:
• #AVLinuxMX, #EnlightenmentDE & #MokshaDE versions
• #LMDE which'll make a solid fallback b/c I am most familiar w/ #Debian based distros. -

During the past 5 days one tool have saved my day three already times: Ventoy.
My daily driver Linux got botched 3 times during `pacman -Syu`, and without having a bootable disk I wouldn't be able to get back up and running this fast.
Bringing my USB stick was the wisest thing I did this morning!

I am working on basic 5 page site template but also bigger efforts, addressing smb mkt not just local break/fix mkt. maybe the bootable nvme idea (hardened deb) with persistence and enc - a must for the road warrior but good for anyone who values security and privacy #fido #fips #extras #working drivers #vetted #pentoo #ventoy

All of those with technical #teenagers , make sure to put away your #ventoy usb sticks. Otherwise, those teenagers may sideload / use the live images on you ventoy to avoid restrictions on their devices.
