@kelbot I've tried #SNES #emulation on my #NDSLite, but apart from sub-par performance, the main issue I have with it is that the vertical resolution of the #NDS (256 × 192 pixels) is too low to display SNES games (which run between 256 × 224 and 512 × 448 pixels), which means you'll miss part of the top or bottom, or have to deal with a squished image...

#GBATemp is overall a decent resource for info, though I must admit I haven't really looked into #NDS #homebrew for quite some time.
#DSorganize is a nice #PDA-like organiser util with a file browser (which will play audio files), todo list, calendar, day planner, address list, scribble pad, and even web browser and IRC modules, and a homebrew database.
There are also various emulators, though IIRC the lower resolution compared to a TV, means you'll miss some lines on e.g. #SNES games.

@kelbot can't say I've tried playing video on it; my phone kinda already fulfills that purpose for me. :)
Tbh, I don't have much experience with various loaders and flashcarts. I got the #Acekard2i #flashcart years ago since that one was at the time one that was well-developed, supported and quite cheap. It's still running (a rather old version of) #AceKard All In One (#AKAIO) because it seemed to be the most popular and actively developed loader.

@kelbot the #GuitarHero games come with a device with buttons you plug into the GBA slot, which simulates the strings of the guitar. That handle also contains a plectrum/pick to use on your touchscreen.
Overall the controls are decent, though IIRC my handle hand did get cramped after a while.
Btw, there's also a #BandHero that also came with a 'drum' cover you could wrap around your #NDS, but I don't recall using that a lot.

@kelbot I still need to open up my #secondHand #PS3 to clean out the dust inside. Need to order a set of security torx bits though.

(Need to do the same for my #preOwned #XBox360 that I picked up together with the PS3 and a bunch of controllers and games for about 50 bucks a couple of months ago. It hasn't seen much use the past weeks/months, but I'm sure it will when the weather deteriorates again.)

Sort of. It wouldn't log in via the standard oauth method (I couldn't click on the authorize/deny pop-up). I also couldn't log in with pinafore (the "add instance" button also wasn't clickable)

The vanilla web UI actually did let me log on, but it wasn't quite usable, at least with the default multi-column layout

@kelbot would using a bridge system like #Bitlbee be an interim solution perhaps? Unfortunately since Bitlbee presents itself as an #IRC server, it afaik doesn't support voice/video communication though.
Or alternatively a multi-protocol client like #Adium, #Pidgin, #Trillian? No idea if any of them still exist, but those are some I've used in the past to be present on multiple platforms while only using a single app.

If someone owns the book in a DRM-free format, they may have marked where they bought it from. Libreture's list of DRM-free bookshops also populates the list of selectable shops in each reader's library, helping others find where to buy the book DRM-free.
