Today kicks off another season for excitement, frustration, unhealthy snacks and ROLL TIDE FOOTBALL !!!

With that said I guess today’s answer would be 1982. This is the year I got married, and started my over the road career in earnest. I won’t go into detail but there it is.

This weekend your challenge is to write a poem or a piece of prose in exactly 90 words using the word “Trade”.In the gist of life’s journey I often gripe about the present affairs
I stopped to smell a lilac today and it flooded my memories, taking me back to a time in life where I had nothing to gripe about. The purple flower was a symbol of love and beauty that my mother told me was the gist of life. I was maybe five or six at the time and I wouldn’t trade that memory for anything this world has to offer in these modern times. Memories like these grip my heart strings and gently tug at them bringing tears to my eyes.
