You know, it's easy for people to say "don't panic about climate change" when they are not living in a badly affected area.

#Wildfires have always been a thing here, but they are currently far worse than they've ever been in the northwest. I'm looking at a forecast that includes #smoke and the possibility of #thunderstorms. We haven't had rain here in weeks. Every bolt of #lightning that touches the ground will start a fire if it is not accompanied by heavy rain.

Don't tell me not to worry.
