  3. 📝 New post: Wellington's Shitsville is real
I used six years of Wellington weather data to fix the rules on Can You Beat Wellington. Turns out some seasons just don't have good days, and Wellington doesn't have 4 seasons.

  5. Reading up on #Wellington #Water #Works, it seems that
Rates are going down by a whopping $10-$15 a week
Water rates are coming in at about $50/week.
A 30%~ish raise in rates for everyone, despite promises of no extreme increases

  6. I'm here at the #wellington main #library and this is seriously the best library I've ever been in. This is the standard that all libraries should strive to achieve. Instead of night at the museum it should be night at the wellington library. And its packed with people here doing library things which is pretty cool. #newZealand using those tax dollars in at least one right place.

  15. Lola Veronica is a musician from Ōtautahi / Dunedin and she's really good! This gig is a fundraiser for her first album - sadly for me, I have a clashing meeting and can't go to this gig, but if you like live music and lyrics that mean something, please go along!

When: Wednesday 29 April, 7.30pm (doors open 7pm)
    Where: Undercurrent, 118 Tory St
    Cost: $15
Who: "With a life immersed in vast seascapes and dramatically shifting weather, Lola Veronica grew up acutely aware of the climate crisis, and the place of humanity in our natural world, both borderless and fragile."
