Antifa-Ost-Prozess Dresden: ein langer kurzer Prozesstag!
Der Prozess vor dem OLG Dresden begann heute mit ein ein paar Minuten Verspätung. Es ist Dienstag, 09:45 Uhr als die Richter:innen den Saal betreten und feststellen, einer der Angeklagten fehlt.
Vorsitzender Richter Joachim Kubista erzählt, dass der Angeklagte X. durch amtsrichterlichen Beschluss in eine Psychiatrie eingewiesen worden sei. Einer der Verteidiger des Betroffenen interveniert und beantragt den Ausschluss der Öffentlichkeit, denn hier gehe es um höchtpersönliche Belange seines Mandanten.
Kubista ordnet erstmals eine Pause von 15 Minuten an, so dass schon eine Minute nach Prozessbeginn die Verhandlung unterbrochen wird.
Als es um kurz nach 10 Uhr weitergeht, verkündet der Vorsitzende den Beschluss, dass die schutzwürdigen Interessen des Angeklagten das Interesse der Öffentlichkeit überwiegen würden, weshalb diese ausgeschlossen werde. Zugleich wurde die Verhandlung bis 12:00 Uhr unterbrochen.
Die 11 Zuschauer:innen verlassen wieder den Saal. Dann wird die Unterbrechung bis 14:00 Uhr verlängert, ein Beschluss in nicht-öffentlicher Sitzung verkündet und um 14:15 Uhr durch Gerichtswachtmeister mitgeteilt, die Verhandlung werde am nächsten Tag um 09:30 Uhr fortgesetzt.
Vielleicht gab es schon einen der über 50 Prozesstage der kürzer war, aber hinsichtlich effektiver Verhandlungsdauer, dürfte der vom 11.08.2026 einen Spitzenplatz einnehmen.
Wie es dem betroffenen Angeklagten geht, das blieb offen und ließ die solidarischen Prozessbesucher:innen bedrückt zurück.

I've played enough XCOM to know that that 80% is really about a 15% chance to hit...
I would say Rebelstar: Tactical Command for the #GBA looks like an XCOM game, but it was developed by Julian Gollop of UFO: Enemy Unknown fame... So a direct line can be drawn between the two games.
To be fair, Rebelstar itself is a series that dates back to 1984, so it would be fair to say that Rebelstar was the foundation for which XCOM was built.
This feels like a game that is worth checking out. I've always been quite a sucker for strategy RPGs like this.
