We're moving our #GoodJob queues from type-based to latency-based, like https://github.com/bensheldon/good_job?tab=readme-ov-file#sizing-jobs-mice-and-elephants suggests.
@bensheldon, are your queues really named `lat15s` and `lat2m` for 15 seconds and 2 minutes max latency, or do you use abstract names?
I'm actually adding a before_perform that monitors the execution latency and warns us if we exceeded the budget.

i just wanted to say #thankyou for spoilering this joke with the appropriate heading. i struggle severely with understanding what people mean due to undiagnosed autism, diagnosed adhd and just generally being where i am from, so if i had read “ [quake announcer voice] CRITICAL NUT” on the global tl without the heading i would have been pretty confused. how can nuts be critical? what kind of nuts are we talking about? why is the quake announcer saying this? why is this person posting this, is she being serious, if yes, about what?
however, after trying really hard, i likely would have probably figured out that this was a lewd joke. and i mean. LEWD. like this is some pretty raunchy stuff. like #WOW. like imagine scrolling past a post like this on the tl in public. i would probably have caught some pretty disapproving looks, AT BEST. like honestly this is some pretty crazy stuff taht i dont want to just JUMP in my face like that probably in the same vein as gore or someone posting hole
but that would have not even be the worst thing. because even worse, for me personally this probably would have triggered a full bore trauma response upon realizing it was a lewd joke. like i am one of the many trauma havers that is pretty sensitive about this stuff, so someone mentioning nut like this would have me lose my mind (however being reminded of the topic of lewd stuff is completely and utterly fine so keep on doing those)
it sucks that spoilers are what we need to resort to, because the "lewd shitpost" spoilers ruin most comedic timing and usually arent very funny. but there is just no better way. some of my friends have told me "vivi i dont think you should go online if youre on this much of a hairtrigger" or "vivi you can just add nut to filtered/muted words or whatever" but like. this would just mute normal uses of the word nut. like what if my friends are talking about macadamia nuts? i would miss their conversation (which would not trigger anything in me either)
anyway just wanted to give you this quick #shoutout and say #goodjob . keep on tooting in the free world and lmk if you are in the portland/seattle area and want to buy a used couch -

@randahl #wow #goodjob #Denmark yes for decades the "established" parties instead of delivering for citizens cared about themselves, and the companies that lobby them... if #democracy can deliver this bomb can be defused, if not that would be very bad AGAIN, because the mountain of problems grows bigger by the day.

This is also my first time using #GoodJob (thanks @bensheldon!) and I've really enjoyed using it too.
No shade on Sidekiq, but running GoodJob async in a thread while we prototype is simply *wonderful* developer ergonomics, as well as saving on hosting costs in these early days.

(2022 - Viki, 12 1:04 eps)A rich jaebol playing detective as a 2nd job meets up with a woman with super-vision to solve crimes & we get a drama that doesn't take itself seriously at all - it's comic-like in some ways. Many tropes are exaggerated. The 4 leads work well together and make for great comedy.
The disguises they come up with are fun. The writing is witty, although, some scenes are far-fetched. We have romance, comedy, & mystery. It's a fun watch with a decent story. Some loose ends, but overall a nice break from more serious dramas.

It's all about how many of us use our jobs to identify us. and the dangers of doing so (and the benefits of not doing that). I found it really insightful.
