To be fair, this is only true for generative AI, i.e. large language models (LLMs). That‘s the slop-generators using up all of the computer centre capacity, energy and water and causing the current RAMocalypse. On the other hand, analytic AI is really useful in real-world and scientific applications, as it is a great pattern-recognizer (as are human brains) on very large datasets. Great stuff!
