We've just merged some code to automatically scale up the on screen keyboard in landscape on larger screens like tablets also allowing it to use more horizontal space.

While at that we also added the necessary bits to scale up font and icons on the keyboard's keys accordingly which also helps on phones when going to higher resolutions.

There's still some low hanging improvements like scaling down in landscape on phones or improving the touch area for the shortcuts and completion bars. Let us know if you want to help with that!

I'm not too keen on bashing #GNOME and I really do not like praising #Windows but god the Windows #touch #keyboard is so much better.

if nothing else, aesthetically the Windows one looks pretty decent while in a rarity for GNOME its #OSK is just. aaaargh. I think it's the size and weight of the letters on the buttons?

also the Windows one has (optional) #autocomplete which is nice

Well, actually #fluffychat itself probably did nothing but since yesterday the backspace button on the - i assume newly updated - #osk on #phosh does not seem to register in fluffychat anymore.

while that is a little frustrating, the text highlighting function has gotten an update as well and not i can easily mark and just replace text. its not perfect but it is bearable.

nobody said #dogfooding #postmarketos would be easy. :)
