Your little reminder that you can handle whatever the coming week has in store, and you're doing better than you think you are♥️

You never know who you're encouraging, simply by being your authentic self.

Here's your reminder to start off September:
You do not need to try to keep everyone happy.
There are people who will judge you. There are people who absolutely will not understand you and your journey (or even try to).
The good news is-you have the freedom to do what you want. Be your weird, magical, genuine, amazing self-because as much as there are people out there who won't get you, there are others who most definitely will(and be relieved they've found someone similar who gets them too).

You know that feeling where you've put something off, or a lot of time has passed and you don't know if you can go back to a thing, but it's still on your mind? Give it a go. You might find it's just your brain trying to convince you it's too late, but actually, it's still worth doing and you're about to be pleasantly surprised. We all put things off. Take a chance. Do the thing.

Your reminder that you don't have to wait until conditions are perfect to start something. The perfect time may never arrive, so start now. Messy, unpolished, unsure...it's okay. Start that thing you want to do.

Your reminder. Keep going!

Everyone remembers the iconic "Start It Up" being used to promote Windows 95 in television advertising.
But do you remember what song was used to promote the launch of Windows XP? I remember the commercials, with a bunch of folks flying around other folks at a outdoor cafe and various offices using XP on their laptops.
Here's a hint: "Yes you can" was the tagline for Windows XP...and it is NOT in the lyrics of the song.
The song is WAAAAAAAAY older than I remembered it being. :)

“I wasn’t running for my own pleasure. I was simply loaning my arms and legs to my son.” - Dick Hoyt (died in 2021). His son Rick died last week after a longer and more inspiring life than most who are born with severe cerebral palsy.
