@ArtHarg @randahl We have to remember that the monthly quantities of diesel are but a small fraction of what the US alone consumes in a week.
I have seen a calculation that suggests that the initial 300,000 tonnes of diesel amounts to 15-16 hours of US diesel fuel consumption.
This will do nothing to reduce pump prices in the US.
Let's just hope that this point is picked up by Fox News and broadcast to its viewers.

With the whole NATO Military Committee, we visited Kyiv, yesterday, to reaffirm unwavering support for #Ukraine.
Discussions with Major General Drapatyi, Commander-in-Chief of the 🇺🇦 Armed Forces, focussed on Ukraine’s military priorities and lessons learned to strengthen Allied preparedness for current and future threats.
While in Kyiv, the 32 Military Representatives and myself did not miss to pay our utmost respect at the Wall of Remembrance of the Fallen for Ukraine.
